Construction Project Manager
Coactint is seeking to hire a highly qualified and experienced Project Manager for construction projects in Louisiana and Central/South Mississippi. The ideal candidate will oversee projects from bidding to execution to close out. You will work with senior management and act as the point of contact for clients. Responsibilities Oversee all stages of project life cycle Review and analyze subcontractor proposals to determine low responsible bidder Prepare subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, and change order requests Develop and maintain project schedules and cost breakdowns Prepare monthly progress payment applications Monitor and control change orders to subcontractors, including timely notification and adjustments to contracts Review submittal data for conformance with the project documents Manage the Request for Information process Assist with project related meeting coordination, agenda preparation, and issuance of minutes May actively manage projects at the work site Fundamental knowledge of computer operations and the following applications:
Procore, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office 365 Apps (Excel, Word, Power Point) Qualifications 5
years of experience Strong organizational and project management skills Must be able to organize and plan construction projects; provide onsite work direction and training Monitor, control and report on performance and progress of projects Communicate project goals with assigned field personnel Oversee participation in all aspects of job site safety and adherence to OSHA standards Must have complete understanding of all Blueprints, Specifications, and Submittals Manage, motivate and continuously improve team members through team building practices and task matching Ability to multitask while staying organized Positive customer service skills as well as a strong ability to communicate in a team setting Must possess strong verbal communication skills Must possess strong professional writing skills Must possess Valid Driver's License Willing to work at various project locations in Louisiana and Mississippi Experience with Federal government projects preferred OSHA Certification preferred First Aid and CPR Certification preferred Recommended Skills Blueprinting Cpr Communication Construction Customer Service First Aid And Preparedness Apply to this job.
